What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files that websites place on your device to store information. They allow a site to remember your preferences, keep you signed in, measure traffic, and deliver essential functionality. Gatefund uses cookies and similar technologies (local storage, session storage) to operate the Service and improve your experience.
Essential Cookies
Essential cookies are strictly necessary for the Service to function. They cannot be disabled without breaking core functionality. Examples: authentication session (auth_token), language preference (crm_language), cookie consent storage (cookie_consent), and Stripe payment cookies set only when you initiate a checkout (__stripe_mid, __stripe_sid). Per CNIL guidelines and Article 82 of the French Data Protection Act, payment cookies set during a transaction explicitly initiated by the user are exempted from prior consent. These cookies do not require consent under GDPR.

Analytics Cookies
Analytics cookies help us understand how visitors use the Service so we can improve it. These are only set after you give consent. They include anonymized usage metrics such as pages viewed, time on page, and navigation paths. You can decline or revoke consent at any time via the cookie settings link in the footer.

Third-Party Cookies
Gatefund does not currently set any optional third-party cookies on the Service. Note that Stripe payment cookies, which were previously listed here, are now classified as essential — see the Essential Cookies section above. If we add optional third-party integrations in the future (such as customer chat or analytics overlays), they will be listed here and will require your consent before activation.
Managing Your Preferences
You can manage your cookie preferences at any time by clicking "Cookie settings" in the footer of any page, which reopens the consent modal. You can also block cookies via your browser settings, but disabling essential cookies will prevent the Service from functioning correctly. Deleting browser cookies will require you to reset preferences and sign in again.
Changes to Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when we add or remove cookies, or when legal requirements change. Material changes will be announced via the Service and the "Last updated" date will be revised. Continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
